The Action

The key to any good party, whether a Bat Mitzvah, Bar Mitzvah, wedding or other celebration, is the action. Let's face it, people having a good time and at the height of emotion is what partying is all about! I photographed a great party this past weekend in celebration of Maya becoming a Bat Mitzvah. Held at the Wellesley Country Club and MC'd by Chris from Siagel Productions, it was a blast!! Congratulations goes out to Maya!

Boston weddings

This wedding was photographed a couple weeks ago. We had a spell of rain, so the umbrellas seem to play a large part in the pictures. My philosophy is to embrace the weather. If it's raining break out the umbrellas and have fun. Of course the children make for even more fun pictures. Here's what the mother of the bride had to say:

" Robert, Thank you for everything. You were a pleasure to 'work with', not to mention a phenomenal photographer. The pictures are loved by all."

Boston weddings

I've been photographing weddings in and around Boston now for 15 years. There are so many great venues that I'm amazed! This wedding was at the Andover Country Club . And although this past weekend had a fair amount of rain, we were able to get out there and take some fun pictures in the garden. In these pictures I've focused some on the details. As I document any wedding day and its unfolding I also like to focus one of my cameras on small details. Together they give a complete story of the day!

Pictures, pictures, pictures... We love them. Yes it's true that the new cameras all shoot video but does it really matter? I think not. I realize that I'm bucking a trend but there is something special about a still photograph. The moment of time, especially if it is the decisive moment, caught and frozen for us to ponder and reflect upon. A single moment that now extends into the future to become eternal. But I digress.
