more wedding moments

The details are what matter. One can always pose a picture, but much of the magic can be lost. Therefore I love candid images full of emotion. And sometimes one needs to focus in on an intimate detail of a wedding day to capture that other special facet. In this detail taken immediately after the exchanging of the rings one can see the ring on the brides finger as she holds her summer bouquet, while faded just behind are the intertwined hands of the couple who are recognizing they are soon to be husband and wife.

wedding moments

Capturing those special wedding moments are key. I have found that the recessional, that moment just after the bride and groom are announced as husband and wife and introduced to the congregation, is one of the most beautiful and highly emotional moments. The interaction with the bride and groom as they walk down the aisle and see their friends and family can be quite spectacular. But once down the aisle there are a few brief moments when the couple are to themselves for the first time after being married. So by following unobtrusively, one can often capture the decisive wedding moment as the celebration truly starts!

Discovering a good article that provides the essential information needed to appreciate and collect quality photographs is as good a find as a long lost vintage print done by the hands of Edward Weston himself.
