Boston photography

Most of my weddings and events are photographed in or around Boston.  I'm happy to travel, but Boston provides many venues, churches and outside locations for the event day.  So, if you are getting married at the Lenox Hotel or one of the several beautiful hotels in the area, chances are I've photographed there.  This includes the many historic churches in the area.  And if I have not photographed there I'm happy to make a site visit before the event.

Best of luck in your planning whether it be in Boston, New England or a destination wedding!

Boston Public Gardens

There is probably no spot more well known in Boston as a wedding landmark than the Boston Public Gardens.  Whether in the chill of early winter or the warmth of midsummer, the Boston Public Gardens provide various viewpoints overlooking the pond that make for a fantastic backdrop to both formal posed portraits and romantic candids.

Keep in mind that the city of Boston has certain rules that can be found here: Wedding and Photography policy.

unlimited time

A key feature of my wedding and event packages is the unlimited time for the day.  In this way there are no worries on your end.  I am there to capture your day from the "getting ready" until the final dance.  So you can let loose with a big smile and enjoy the moment as I capture the fun and emotion of the day.  Cheers!!

Black and White

Who doesn't love black and white photographs?  They are timeless.  There is a classic beauty to the image when seen in the nuances of black, white, grey and all the tones in between.  All weddings, engagement sessions, Bar Mitzvahs, Bat Mitzvahs and any other event can include black and white images as part of the proofs.  In this way one can view the day through that lens of classicism that photography has inherited from its earliest roots.

Engaged?

Are you engaged?  If so, Congratulations!
Engagement sessions have changed over time.  What was once a black and white photograph announcing the engagement and wedding in the local newspaper is now a fun walk along the Charles capturing both candid moments as well as portraits signifying the time and relationship.  These two harvard graduates were photographed along the Charles in Cambridge and in Harvard Yard.  Snowy and cold but a beautiful moment.

If you are interested in an engagement session within the Boston area please contact me.  Currently engagement sessions are $250 and include all images published online with private password and image originals on DVD.

Party time

The most fun photographing an event, whether a Bar Mitzvah, Bat Mitzvah, Wedding or other is is had at the party.  One can relax that the ceremony is over and celebrate!  I love to capture the celebratory action, emotion and fun as it occurs.  These always make the best pictures.   They require active searching and awareness and getting that "decisive moment" which reveals it all.

The above picture was taken at Rachelle's Bat Mitzvah and shows the fun, life and happiness of the moment.  Congratulations and Happy New Year Rachelle!
