unique moments
I was reviewing some of my most memorable wedding day events and looking at what made them memorable and special from a photographer's perspective. I've selected pictures from four weddings over the past couple years that particularly captured my imagination. There was the wedding in the North End, where a bag piper escorted the group through Boston's Italian section almost in parade-like fashion, while people cheered. It was a moment not to be forgotten. There was the chair lift ride on a beautiful summer day. Or that special Boston restaurant chosen as the wedding venue because that was where the wedding couple had their first date. And then there are those cultural elements, Boston's melting pot of diversity which lends itself to color and uniqueness being celebrated.
All in all these wedding days were filled with couples that truly wanted to celebrate and create moments that were unique and special. As a photographer I seek these things out. Not only in my event photography but in my art work. What is that unique viewpoint? What is different and special about how I both look at my life and live it? That is what makes my job so special. I thank all of the wedding couples and families this past year that allowed me to share in their special moments. Thank you!
